About Me

I have been a child care owner for 14 years. I understand the challenges many child care facilities face. Day care owners struggle with budgeting, rapid employee turnover as well as child behavior issues. Child behavior issues not only contribute to employee stress, they also deteriorate the most well intended preschool programs. Many first year teachers are not equipped to handle the stress that comes with a constant unruly child. And, unfortunately about 75% of all day care applicants are first year child care teachers. It is truly a struggle.

I wanted to create a program that conquered the challenges unique to daycares. I wanted to create something different. Not just a collection of activities, but a curriculum that truly considered the teacher, all aspects of the child and even the Parent.

A Kid’s World Parents as Partners™ Curriculum is a reflection of 14 years of trial and 17 years of education. The curriculum has been researched, tested and tweaked to what it is today.
